Frequently asked questions
Is Creative BT-W6 USB-C Bluetooth Audio Transmitter a Bluetooth receiver?
This listing is a Bluetooth audio transmitter. Match the source-device connection and supported headphone or speaker profiles; a transmitter and receiver serve different roles.
Will it work with every Bluetooth headset?
Check the exact Bluetooth profiles, codec support and source-device requirements. The presence of Bluetooth on both devices does not guarantee every feature.
Will a particular codec always be used?
The transmitter and listening device must both support the codec. The active codec also depends on settings and the negotiated connection.
Can I assume the microphone works in every mode?
Check voice-call and microphone support for the source device and selected profile. Music playback support alone does not establish microphone compatibility.
